Now and FOREVER there is a USPS STAMP of images from The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. Just look:

Deborah Pope, the irrepressibly enthusiastic Executive Director of the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation, managed to make it happen. There was an impressive and important the event at BPL to officially inaugurate these stamps. There was an Honor Guard! It was the USA government at its best.

Among the prestigious group of attendants, many with a significant place in the world of EJK and children’s picture books, was Mr. Otto Neals, the artist who created bronze statues of Peter, his dog Willie, Peter’s chair, and a stack of EJK books for Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Imagination Playground.

These stamps are seasonal [there’s a child in a red snow suit playing in the snow] but also FOREVER.
