The Read To Me Program is all about bringing stories, songs, and early literacy experiences to our youngest learners and their families. Through partnerships with schools, libraries, and community programs, we help parents practice and discover the joy of reading with their babies and toddlers from the very beginning.

Recently, the Read To Me Program offered storytime sessions for young families enrolled in the NYC LYFE Program (Learning for Young Families through Education). LYFE supports parents who are continuing their own education while raising young children, and our sessions gave families simple, joyful ways to make reading part of everyday life.

We’ve also been fortunate to collaborate with Rachel Payne and the Brooklyn Public Library’s Under 5s Programs, creating spaces where families can sing, read, and learn together. These partnerships allow us to reach more families and celebrate the many ways stories connect us.

More programs are on the way! In the coming semester, we’ll continue to expand our Read To Me sessions with new collaborations and opportunities for families to explore the magic of reading together.
