Halloween is next week.

For a long while now I’ve subscribed to Erica at What We Do All Day.

She shares some of the things that work best while spending time with preschoolers, while pointing out how some days are just truly, really difficult. So I trust her.

Here, she offers a list of diverse books for Halloween. It’s quite a mixture, and more than likely worth your while.

A first time for little ones might be scary, but who doesn’t like to dress up, and roar. And get a treat!

Sweets and Treats by Toni Trent Parker, photographs by Earl Anderson. This is a great book for toddlers and preschoolers with inviting photographs and lively rhymes about Halloween traditions.
