This is a curious article to note. When KJ Dell’Antonia, Rachel Payne and I edited our book for Sourcebooks in 2013 we made sure the books recommended were in print, available to purchase, or in libraries. Now we have heard that the Chinese are delighted with American children’s picture books. They want to encourage early childhood imagination, and family literacy. So our helpful contribution is now translated for the Chinese. So pleased and proud to be part of this new and growing initiative. Will the books we painstakingly researched for our book be translated too?
