Diverse books with a range of representation for all families

We need diverse books! That’s just plain true. Our families are mixed and our friendships are too. The more we see ‘others’ in our stories and pictures, the more open we are to each other. Often we read about animals we all can identify with. This list features books with illustrated children who come from a variety of backgrounds being, well, children.
